Dean Campbell owns the new home under construction at 2515 Erlton Street SW. He is the spokesman for the nearby owners proposing a riverbank stabilization project for their properties.

He advises: ‘As this is an application for river bank stabilization the land use bylaw is not applicable and as such there are no relaxations of it. Permits are applied to the Federal Department of Fisheries and the Alberta Environment of Parks. A development permit application is made to the City of Calgary to satisfy its requirements for this type of project. The City requirements are listed on page 4 of the attached. I am unsure of the City’s method of processing this type of application and whether it will include notification of the ECA or posting of the application. In the interest of being good neighbors I want to ensure that ECA is aware of the application.’
