I received this Development Permit Application for Erlton’s comments this afternoon. A PDF of the application, the City’s review of the plans, and a street view is attached.

DP2011-2616

The design meets the requirements of our ARP, and the only significant issues are the excessive building depth, and no indication that the side windows  that project beyond the adjacent homes are translucent to minimize privacy invasion. Please call if you would like to review the complete set of plans.

Your comments can be submitted via email to the following addresses:

yuping.wang@calgary.ca  — Planning File Manager
aprilk@rbalbi.ca  — Developer
erlton@shaw.ca  — Erlton Community Association
gian-carlo.carra@calgary.ca  — Our Alderman

Please share/discuss this email with your neighbours, some of whom may not be community members, or may not have shared their email address with us.

The deadline for comment is August 25th, but sooner is better, since I believe that this is the type of infill and design that we wish to encourage.
