I spoke with the new file manager this afternoon. She confirms that the Development Authority did not ask the developer for a shadow study or cross-section as noted in paragraph 4 of our community comment. It’s attached for reference (below). She says she will obtain a set of approved plans for us next week.

The deadline for appeal is May 8th.

We received this Development Permit application and plans late last week. A PDF of some of it is attached:

The City has not yet reviewed this development for conformance to the Land Use Bylaw, so that information is unavailable. We have asked for a copy of it, and will circulate it when it’s received. We will also ask for a cross-section showing the relationship with the east neighbour, a shadow study and a 31st Avenue streetscape view, all of which are missing.

I have the plans available for review. Please email or call if you would like to see them.
