Over the summer months we conducted an operation targeting bike thieves in the downtown core and Beltline community. These areas witnessed an increase in bike thefts following the June floods. As a result of the operation, we seized over 50 bikes and laid charges against 17 people.

We have an additional 250 bikes in our Property Room that have been seized across the city throughout 2013. However, as many bike thefts go unreported, we have not been able to return them to their rightful owners.

If you believe your bike was stolen, please call us with as many details as possible so they can be cross-referenced to those recovered.
