Over 1,500 of you pitched-in to help our neighbours in Erlton, Rideau-Roxboro, Bridgeland and Inglewood over the last several days. We even had some people load up their shovels and head out to help Bowness!
While we are still going to be out and about assisting our impacted neighbourhoods–communities and local stakeholders are now taking up the coordination of these large-scale volunteer events.

One of those local stakeholders, The Calgary Dream Centre, who have already been a huge help in assembling resources and people, are hosting a Flood Recovery Cleanup and BBQ.

Find all of the information on the Calgary Dream Centre Facebook Event Page Calgary Flood Recovery Neighbourhod Cleanup

Where:  Calgary Dream Centre 4510 MacLeod Trail South
When:  Saturday, June 29 from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm

Also, these communities are continuing to run muster stations to coordinate volunteers and donations:

Erlton: 2609 Erlton Street SW
Rideau-Roxboro: 3030 4th Street SW
Bridgeland-Riverside: Community Hall at 917 Centre Avenue NE.

Inglewood: either DaDe Art & Design, 1327 9th Avenue SE or at the Inglewood Community Association, 1740 24th Avenue SE.

It’s been an amazing show of community support. HUGE thanks to all of you!
