This is an update regarding the land use re-designation application for the affordable housing project on Mission Road. From the Applicant:
The application had previously been put on pause pending some key discussions with the City, and now we are re-starting the application. Although there have been some minor changes to the land use district proposed, much of the progress made since we last talked is in progressing the detailed design for the site in advance of a Development Permit. This has given us a much better idea of what needs to be included in the Direct Control district we are proposing.
We will be hosting a public engagement session in the spring. It’s currently our intention that we will be able to have this be a joint session for both the Land Use and Development Permit, which will allow us to share the details that people are most interested in seeing.
The Applicant has kindly agreed to provide information in advance of the planned public engagement session, and will attend the Erlton Community Association’s April meeting:

Time: ECA meeting starts at 7pm, the Applicant was asked to arrive at 7:15 so the regular business can be completed before the presentation.
Location: Poolview Room, MNP Centre (at south end, west of Jugo Juice), NOT in our usual Riverview Room. Please note you must enter through the North entrance due to construction.
Parking: First 2 hours are free, if you stay longer, payment of $8/hours is required. Cameras record entry/exit, no registration is required.
